Cancellation Policy

If you’ve booked a refundable rate through our website, you’re required to cancel at least 5 days (120 hours) before your scheduled check-in time in order to be eligible for a refund. 

Cancellations made less than 5 days before check-in will result in a charge equivalent to the entire stay. 

Please note, no refunds will be issued for guests who decide to shorten their stay after check-in.

How do I cancel my reservation?

For reservations made via third-party platforms (e.g., Hostelworld or Booking.com), please cancel through the respective platform. For direct bookings (in-person or via our website), you can request cancellation by emailing our customer service at hellodahab@rafikihostels.com. We will get back to you with a confirmation.

Can I get back my reservation deposit?

Deposits paid at the time of booking through online travel agents (such as Hostelworld) are commissions for the agent, and not received by Rafiki Hostels. For refunds of these deposits, please contact the third-party platform directly.

No Show Policy

Failure to arrive for your booking without prior cancellation will lead to the cancellation of your reservation and a charge for the full amount of your booking will be applied to your credit card. If you miss your booking date without notice and arrive a day late, we cannot guarantee room or bed availability. Our hostels are typically full, and your reserved space may be booked by others. To avoid this, please verify your booking dates carefully.
